started it as a joke because the premise is so dumb — apocalypse turns earth into a game show dungeon, guy in his boxers and a cat — and now it's unironically one of my favorite series
the boxers. he does the whole thing in boxers. nine floors of hell in his underwear.
it has NO business being as funny AND as dark as it is. one page you're laughing, next page it's genuinely bleak
the System notifications alone. the passive-aggressive AI announcer is doing more character work than most whole novels
Donut being a former show cat with an ego the size of a planet is the greatest LitRPG character ever written and i will not be debating this
the audiobook is the move btw. Jeff Hays does like a hundred voices, it's unhinged, perfect
for once a channel recommendation that isn't a scam. i'm in. starting tonight.
