ok so im doing the full lord of the rings marathon this weekend. EXTENDED editons only, theatrical cuts are for cowards. i got snacks, i got the big couch, i got a spot on discord ready to stream it. im already partway in and i need people bc i only made it to just before the mines of moria before i fell asleep and i refuse to do the rest alone. who’s coming

moria IS the good part. ok its not the BEST part but its so close. the drums in the deep, the cave troll, balin’s tomb, the bridge. gandalf vs the balrog is peak cinema and i passed out right before it so thats why i need backup. somebody has to keep me awake for the bridge

howard shore’s score is a masterpeice and i wont hear otherwise. it has like a seperate theme for every culture. the shire has its own, rohan has the hardanger fiddle, moria has that deep choir thing. u could literaly listen to the soundtrack and know where u are in the story
